Egmont (”Eggie”) Kock

Eggie is Chairman and co-founder of the One Life Partnership. He retired recently as a senior partner at Deloitte where he led their consulting business across the Europe, Middle East and Africa region. He brings a wealth of experience gained from serving world class companies alongside prominent leadership roles within Deloitte. This included leading Deloitte’s global services to two household names in the consumer goods sector and serving on Deloitte’s European Board and Global Consulting Executive.
Eggie brings a deep understanding of implementing change in major companies and institutions around the world. He has delivered professional services in over 30 countries and excels in working in difficult and challenging circumstances. Much of his work has involved advising and coaching senior executives through difficult periods of change. This has focused particularly on helping individuals and their teams create the conditions in which they can excel. Having hired, and worked with, many coaching organisations over the years, Eggie has a powerful perspective on the value this can bring. He has a passionate belief in achieving the impossible.
He has a degree in Economics and Economic History from the University of Manchester, is a member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants in England and Wales and completed a Deloitte sponsored business school programme at IMD in Lausanne. Eggie is also Chairman of the Microloan Foundation, a charity which provides microfinance support to help poor African women start their own businesses.
His many personal interests include “coaching” his teenage family, cultivating a new vineyard on his farm in East Sussex, and taking a keen interest in all forms of sport.
